Dressing tables may seem like a throwback to a bygone age, but in one form or another their function persists, partly because they are perfect places to display small objects of curiosity and beauty.

Trinket boxes are essential on any dressing table, partly for the storage of small, delicate items of jewellery, but also because when they are as well-designed as this, they are simply a pleasure to look at.

The Deomali box is named after a mountain in eastern India and draws on the artisan styles of the region in its minimalist, ribbed design and the juxtaposition of rich earth colours, gold and black.
